The Lodge at Pico Bonito has special accommodations for students and researchers, to visit and study the rainforest's unique flora, fauna and ecology.
Requests for these accommodations must be submitted to the General Manager and approved prior to arrival. Valid student or researcher identification required. These accommodations are small rooms in one building, each room having up to three single beds and a bathroom. A minimum stay of three nights is required and these rooms are not available during the Holiday Season. The cost for a room is as follows:
- Room occupied by one person - $60 per night
- Room shared by two people - $40 per person per night
- Room shared by three people - $33 per person per night
*Breakfast is included. Rates do not include tax (16%) and gratuities (10%).
